A legal workshop will be held for those business owners who are struggling to keep their business running or who are looking to expand their business. Expected topics include: Contracts, Real Estate (including leases and zoning), Business Entity Formation, Employment Matters, and How to protect yourself and your business.
The Lawyers’ Committee is hosting the free business legal workshop where business attorneys will give an overview of legal issues that many small business face. The Lawyers’ Committee’s Belin Economic Justice Project provides free legal assistance to small businesses on many issues.
The workshop format is very interactive and questions are welcome.
The event is held in association with Edwards Angell Palmer & Dodge LLP, the Fall River Area Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the New Bedford Area Chamber of Commerce, The Southeast Regional Office of the Massachusetts Small Business Development Center, and the Southern New England School of Law.
