New Bedford – The city of New Bedford recently welcomed a new, innovative art gallery to the downtown business district.
The new U.G.L.Y. gallery, is located at 246 Union St. and offers an innovative, fresh brand of purpose driven art. U.G.L.Y gallery designs include hand-rendered art for canvas, clothes, and community with a focus on urban contemporary art. Just what does U.G.L.Y stand for? U.Gotta.Love.Yourself.
We are a gallery rooted and established to showcase and expand what progressive thought, dedication, and imagination can ultimately produce. Our designs are focused on energizing and inspiring, changing perceptions and challenging the status quo, said gallery co-owner Jeremiah Hernandez. He added that local, national, and international street artists will be on hand to share their work each month on AHA! nights.
