In the spirit of keeping things green, we’re here to let you know that our partners in the City’s Office of Environmental Stewardship need your input.

New Bedford is using nature-based solutions to increase climate and community resiliency by reducing urban flooding, mitigating extreme heat, and improving neighborhood livability.

In the Green Infrastructure Master Strategy, the City will prioritize these projects in neighborhoods where residents will get the most benefits.

Share your opinion in the Community Survey to shape the Green Infrastructure Strategy and help the City support resilient and livable neighborhoods. You can read more about green infrastructure in the City’s blog post and test your knowledge by taking the Green Infrastructure Quiz!
