Lt. Gov. Karyn Polito will be presenting a $2.5 million award to the City for infrastructure improvements along the W. Rodney French corridor from Cove Street to the hurricane barrier.
This investment will help to transform this south end neighborhood and catalyze new redevelopment projects on the Kilburn Mill campus.
The event will take place at 10:30 AM, on the third floor of the Kilburn Mill in the South End at 127 W Rodney French Blvd.
The speaking program for Thursday morning’s event includes the Lt. Gov., EOHED Undersecretary Ashley Stolba, members of New Bedford’s State legislative delegation, Mayor Mitchell, and Council President Lopes.
