On behalf of our partners at the City of New Bedford Department of City Planning and the Southeastern Regional Planning and Economic Development District (SRPEDD), we’d like to share information about an upcoming virtual public workshop to discuss New Bedford’s future Transit-Oriented Development (NBTOD) areas.
This Thursday, April 7th at 6:00PM, the team will present draft design guidelines and standards, as well as an overview of the proposed overlay zoning districts (planned for the neighborhoods adjacent to the Church Street and Whale’s Tooth South Coast Rail platforms). The session will conclude with time for questions and answers.
We encourage you to attend, ask questions, and provide input. To register for the workshop or learn more about the history and the current state of the TOD project visit the project website.
