Gallery 65 at William is opening Friday at 65 William St. in in downtown New Bedford, former site of Navio Gallery.
The gallery will feature fine art and craft, exhibiting established artists from Greater New Bedford, Cape Cod and Greater Boston. Artists who may be familiar to collectors who have shopped the holiday open studios at the Cove and Hatch Street mill buildings are some of the founders of this new gallery.
Paintings, drawings, prints and mixed media works will grace the walls, while innovative fine furniture, textiles, fiber art and fashion, jewelry, sculpture, ceramics and glass will fill the gallery with texture and color.
The gallery will feature art and design in a wide range of prices from cards and affordable gifts to art and fine craft for collectors. Workshops and special events are planned throughout the year, and during every AHA! on second Thursdays.
Come meet the artists at the Gallery 65 at William grand opening celebration during the July 14 AHA! Night.
The gallery will be open for business daily beginning Friday, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays and Saturdays, and noon to 5 p.m. Sundays. The gallery will be open until 9 p.m. on Thursdays.
